FAQs

  1. Q: Which type of Networks does the UAM Captive Portal is applicable and supported?
A: The UAM Captive portal feature is supported on Passphrase and Public type.

Known limitations

  • AAA Server IP Configuration Issue (Internal Case #1963): Users are unable to configure an IP address in the AAA Server IP field. Users however would be able to specify a domain name.

  • AAA Authentication Port Restriction (Internal Case #1964): Custom AAA Authentication Port numbers cannot be configured initially; only port 1812 is accepted. If an error occurs, reverting back to 1812 is also not possible.

Workaround: Create the network with port 1812, then edit the network settings to change it to any value within the 1–65535 range.
