Release 3.2 Notes

Major new features & enhancements:

Wi-Fi

- MPSK on-boarding for Tri-band networks.
- AAA Reply attributes added to client information and timeline.
- Administrators can now manually add specific MAC addresses to the network-wide client isolation list using Access Control Lists (ACLs), allowing for more granular control over client communication restrictions.

Push Notifications: Receive real-time push notifications directly through the Shasta Cloud Mobile App, ensuring timely alerts for critical events and system updates.
- Live Status Updates: Monitor the real-time online/offline status of Access Points (APs) within the app, providing instant visibility into infrastructure health.
- Proximity-Based Sorting: Easily navigate venue listings with the new sorting option that arranges venues based on proximity for quicker access and management.
- Recovery SSID Detection: Automatically detect the Maverick recovery SSID for APs experiencing connectivity issues, enabling faster troubleshooting and recovery.

Web UI

Business View now features a redesigned dashboard for improved visibility and insights.
Inventory Summary widget now features dynamic bar charts that visually represent your inventory, categorized by both device model and type.

With a clear visual breakdown—categorizing models like EAP-101, RAP630C-311G, and types such as 24-Port Switch, Ceiling, Outdoor, and Wall Plate—users can easily identify trends, spot distribution imbalances, and make informed decisions more efficiently.

When additional infrastructure is available, clicking "See more (<count>)" opens a pop-up displaying a detailed list of infrastructure, along with its count and a bar chart for visual representation

Aggregate (roll-up) infrastructure, clients, traffic, tasks, and more into Venue and Organization-level folders within the tree view for a better user experience.
Switch profile configuration is now more user-friendly, allowing seamless model selection without the need to locate infrastructure through a dropdown menu.

Case #803 - Resolved issue where 6GHz networks were listed on non-6GHz APs.
Case #1202 - Added additional RADIUS messaging details (VLANs/Auth, etc.) in the Client Timeline for MPSK.
Case #1412 - Introduced optional MAC address support for Network-Wide Client Isolation.
Case #1678 - Enabled infrastructure addition within venues from the venue page, in addition to the infrastructure tab.
Case #1826 - Clarified MAC address count for CyberTAN APs in infrastructure.
Case #1912 - Fixed issue where clicking on a client hyperlink redirected users out of the Venue context.
Case #1954 - Added 'All' option to the Filter Toggle in the Clients Dashboard.
Case #1969 - Updated venue overview screen to support pin color changes based on venue status (offline/online/etc.).
Case #1970 - Enabled adjustable column widths throughout the UI.
Case #2221 - Provided option to delete proposals.
Case #2245 - Removed the 1-month option in Proposals until further definition.
Case #2457 - Added HTTP PATCH support for venues and organization APIs.
Case #2468 - Resolved inconsistent port status in the /switchstatistics API.
Case #2474 - Added "reason" field for port "WARNING" status.
Case #2517 - Addressed issue where devices were showing offline incorrectly.
Case #2562 - Implemented webhook notifications for scheduled firmware upgrades on Switch/AP.

Case #2614 - Resolved failed firmware update issue and missing private IP for EAP-111s.
Case #2615 - Fixed missing port data (PoE and Tx/Rx data) for switches.
Case #2616 - Included infrastructure model name in the infra initialization event.
Case #2621 - Corrected Name field behaviour in Web UI - Profiles.
Case #2622 - Increased organization name character limit beyond 30 characters.
Case #2652 - Ensured client IP address is displayed when connected through VXLAN.
Case #2671 - Corrected PoE Class labeling for 4150-54PP (was showing Class-5, now properly labeled Class-3).
Case #2738 - Resolved issue preventing Patel Interconnect Org from being disabled on production.
Case #2739 - Fixed incorrect org list display after an Org delete action.
Case #2777 - Corrected filename misspelling in exported notifications.
Case #2778 - Fixed worksheet properties repair issue in notification exports.
Case #2779 - Addressed issue where all infrastructure was losing connectivity to Shasta Cloud.
Case #2782 - Resolved issue preventing AP movement from the default venue.
Case #2792 - Expanded character limit for titles.
Case #2866 - Fixed telemetry reporting issue for ECS-4150-28P.
Case #2867 - Ensured fixed channels in RF profiles are correctly applied.
Case #2875 - Improved wired client display reliability and performance.
Case #2917 - Fixed issue where AP dots turned from green to blue while adding APs to the floorplan.
Case #2919 - Addressed issue where factory reset was not clearing cloud deployment settings.
Case #2924 - Added scroll and pagination options on the 'Place AP Infrastructure' page.
Case #2953 - Improved search functionality for adding specific APs to the floor plan.
Case #2987 - Resolved intermittent 404 errors from the telemetry infra details API.
Case #2999 - Fixed issue where infrastructure was not visible after moving it to VW.
Case #3000 - Addressed connectivity loss issue for APs after moving to VW.
Case #3018 - Restored missing custom switch profiles in venues.
Case #3026 - Optimized Client page loading performance.
Addressed over 20+ internally identified issues.

Note: Certain issues may require a firmware update to the infrastructure for resolution. A notification email will be sent to the ticket creator once the issue is fully resolved, and all dependencies have been deployed.

Known issues and Limitations:

Real-time port status events are currently unavailable on Edgecore switches.
