FAQs
Q: What is a Virtual Warehouse?
A: Virtual Warehouse is a temporary space where shipped infrastructure, such as Access Points (APs) and Switches, is associated with a specific MSP or Customer. This allows the infrastructure to be visible within the Shasta UI, enabling bulk movement to different organizations or venues. Once moved, the transfer is automatically triggered.
Q: Who can add, remove, and manage infrastructure in a Virtual Warehouse?
A: Virtual Warehouses are managed at the MSP level and are not available at the sub-MSP or business level. Only MSP-Admin users have access to add, remove, and manage infrastructure within the Virtual Warehouse.
Q: Is the Virtual Warehouse populated with infrastructure by default?
A: No, the Virtual Warehouse is empty by default. If no infrastructure has been added, the message “No Infrastructure Found” will be displayed.
Q: Why do I see the message “No Certificate found for this device!” when adding infrastructure to the Virtual Warehouse?
A: This message appears when the system does not detect a certificate for the MAC address being added. You have two options:
- Proceed with adding the infrastructure as a third-party device.
- Cancel the operation if a certificate is required before adding the device.
